Reyansh Sharma is an Indian model, actor, a beauty pageant mentor, and grooming expert.
Early life
Reyansh was born with the name Pankaj Sharma on 21st November into a traditional joint family of Shahdara, New Delhi. From his early age, he was raised in the Hindu spiritual practice and was deeply influenced by the recitations of Valmiki Ramayana and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita during family events. His very first foray into the world of performing arts was here when, over the course of his childhood, he played diverse characters from Hindu Itihaasas during various festivities.
Career
Sharma put his engineering course on hold to pursue a full-time career in modelling and acting, after being motivated by his father, is when he finished his degree and diploma in Mass Communication. But his calling towards entertainment industry was increasing day by day and that is when looking at his passion towards industry his father also made him join grooming classes, being from middle class family it was a great sacrifice made by his father as it was quite expensive. Due to his family support and his immense hard work, he was selected for Grasim Mr. India and made it in top finalist in Grasim Mr. India held in 2007. His first big break was a shoot with Versace, following which he did over 450 ramp shows for designers like J.J.Valaya and Rohit Bal, and print campaigns for brands like Vogue, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, O.C.M suiting , Hallmark and many others national and international brands.
Alongside, he joined theatre and performed in plays like Tughlak, Andho Ka Hathi, Kariya Ka Ghera among others, and is associated with theatres like Sriram Centre, LTG and Kamani. He also appeared in several music videos like Intezaar, Yarri Le Baithi ,Agli Dafa and few others.
Awards and Recognition
In 2020, Sharma won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Rabindranath Tagore International Film Festival and many international and national awards for his performance in the short movie titled Debut (at this time he was known as Rehan Sharma and later change to Reyansh Sharma), where he played the character of a struggling Mumbai actor.
In 2021, he won the Panache Man of the Year award for his achievements in fashion industry along with few others awards. He envisions this as a start of his career, with some other good projects on his way.
