Who is Archana Jain?

Dr. Archana Jain (born 26th June 1992) is a young and inspiring entrepreneur, specialising into multiple ventures as an investor, research analyst, proficient orator, plus-size model and the founder of Mumbai-based Florian Spa-N-Salon. She secured the title of 2nd Runner-up of ‘Miss India Curvy 2019’ and is the Founder of the India Brainy Beauty Pageant Show. Along with being the proud Founder of the Florian Foundation, Archana is also the President of Giants Group of Mumbai ONE, President of Naari Foundation, Maharashtra, President of NSPR India, Maharashtra.
Archana Jain strongly believes in women being financially independent and urges them to excel in every field possible. She believes women are no less than men and can achieve whatever they set their heart and mind to. She was born and brought up in a typical and orthodox Marwari family where women were not given the same privileges as men in the house. Archana Jain has successfully overcome various obstacles in her life to reach the peak of her career at a very young age. Early Life and Education:

Born and brought up in a Marwari family, she had to fight her way up the conservative thoughts of the Marwari community. She did not let the conservative thoughts of her community cloud the clarity of her goals. It was due to this environment that she decided to find her way out, and along the way, also help women at large to chase their goals. She has achieved a lot at a very early age and does not let hurdles of the society stop her. Archana believes that age is just a number when one has the will and courage to do things and achieve all that one wants in life. At 29, she has achieved a lot – numerous awards, trophies, titles and much more. It is because of her strong headedness and her tendency to dive in head first, that she has achieved success in every step she takes.
Archana finished her schooling at JB Vaccha High School and completed her graduation from R A Poddar college along with a degree in the Wellness Industry. She completed her course in Bachelor in Commerce and simultaneously pursued a course of Hairstyling with Jawed Habib. She further pursued her MBA in Global Financial Management from S.P Jain Global Management Institute and course in GFMP from Bombay Stock Exchange. Archana has also acquired multiple professional degrees in Skin, Aesthetic, Trichology, Obesity management, SPA Therapy from Tulip International, Australia. Archana was very keen and showed immense interest in the Stock Market. Owing to this interest, today, she is a Research Analyst in the Stock Market. Her Guru, Late G.S Roongta guided her on how to write corporate stories and she often expresses her deep gratitude for his presence in her life. Her talents and proficiency in finance found its expression in the financial newspaper ‘Money Times’ that she wrote herself.

Career:

2.1 Florian Spa and Salon

Archana did not believe in conformity to a particular occupation. She did not stop after pursuing multiple degrees. Taking her career and education seriously since her college days, Archana was motivated to strive for success. She took a budding step towards being an entrepreneur when she established her brand Florian Spa-N-Salon- A unisex all under one roof Salon with state of the art facilities, on 21st August 2015, while she was still pursuing her degree. Her start-up was moving ahead well, but she did not stop there. She wanted to take her brand at PAN India level. She met multiple investors but when things did not go as expected she did not quit, she went for higher studies. She was pursuing her MBA while building a strong foundation for Florian Spa-N-Salon. All along she never let go of her aspirations of expanding her brand. After completing her graduation, she received a call from an investor in Chennai, who was interested in her brand. Thereby, she opened another branch of Florian Spa-N-Salon in Chennai.

2.2 Modeling and Pageantry:

After working hard in the field of finance, and making use of her entrepreneurial skills by founding Florian, Archana then decided to venture into the world of Fashion and Modelling. Archana participated in the Miss India Curvy 2019. She went for the audition, succeeded in all four rounds and was announced as one of the finalists. The grooming and intensive training in Delhi in January 2019 constantly went on for 3 days without any sleep at night and on the fourth day was the Grand Finale. She won the title of 2nd Runner-up of Miss India Curvy 2019 and also won the title of Miss Beautiful Body 2019. Without any prior experience in pageantry, Archana not only entered the pageant, but also succeeded in receiving the honour of 2nd Runner up. She was herself surprised to have gotten that far in the competition, but she never lost her sense of confidence, neither did she let the pageantry grandeur cast even a shadow of self-doubt. Her mother and maternal uncle were extremely happy for her, but she did not receive much appreciation from her dad. She did not lose heart, she kept working hard and achieved her goal. This was only the onset of her career in the glamour industry.
After participating in pageants herself, Archana wanted to do something different and explore other areas of the Industry. she came up with the idea of India Brainy Beauty(IBB). Being the founder of Florian Foundation-a Non-Governmental Organization working towards empowering the society, She saw the opportunity to associate the two, and she grabbed it. The main idea behind IBB was that here age, weight and height didn’t matter. ‘INDIA BRAINY BEAUTY’ Pageant provides women a platform where they get an opportunity to make a difference in the world. The Pageant was commenced with the mission to nurture and support aspiring women along their path to personal and professional growth and contribute to the public at Iarge. The winners and other suitable finalists represent India on various platforms both nationally and Internationally. IBB aims at creating role models and to empower women. With IBB, Archana wanted to establish a platform where women will personally be groomed and transformed into a new personality. Making it successful, she slowly and steadily made herself a brand where people know her as AJ. IBB recently held its Season 2 with all the necessary care and precaution in 2021 and it was a great success. When asked about this pageant, Archana said “Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of much more than you imagine. This Pageant makes you believe that you should not let others tell you what you can’t do. Don’t let the limitations of others demotivate you. If you can remove your self-doubt and believe in yourself, you can achieve what you never thought was possible.” The pageant is aimed at inclusivity of women belonging to different walks of life.

2.3 Other Ventures:

Archana started out as a finance student, running her own business and entered into the world of pageantry. Subsequent to IBB, Archana knew she had a knack for empowering others, all she lacked was a wider platform. Then Archana decided to try her hand at writing although she never thought that she would ever be an author. In 2020, She started to pen down her thoughts and decided to self-publish her book-‘She’s Unlimited’ which was an instant hit. She’s Unlimited was launched on 24th October, 2020 with Simran Ahuja (Miss India 2013) presiding as the Guest of Honour. The book entails ‘how a woman can achieve anything that she sets her heart and mind to’- quoted from the book ‘She’s Unlimited’. She’s Unlimited is a beautifully written book that portrays twenty-six qualities a woman has that sets her apart and makes her unique. Archana has written this book about women and the traits which makes them unstoppable and unlimited. This book is a gift from a woman to all the women out in the world fighting to find herself. After the success of her first book, her second book-Unboxing Beauty – Beauty Empire – Limited Edition is yet to be released. Her real-life story has been captured and published in the book Women of Substance by Rabia Patel. Archana’s determination and strong oratory skills also steered her into the direction of public speaking. Main issues addressed by her are women empowerment and financial independence. She says “A financially empowered women is not just more confident but also more productive and creates a perfect work-life balance. Be so powerful and influential that you have the courage to move out in the world with confidence.”

Social and Humanitarian Works :

In the flow of time, Archana came across Rabia Patel- a social worker, on Facebook and contacted her for her event ‘Walk for Cause’. Archana was inspired by her and walked in many of her shows as a showstopper. She shares a strong bond with Rabia Patel and they connect on an impeccable level. Archana was moved by the way she worked for the society. This inspired her to do something for the society and she founded the Florian Foundation which works for humans as well as animals. She got the opportunity to be the president of Giants Group of Mumbai ONE where she took an oath and started her journey as a social worker. During the Covid-19 pandemic, – when people could not move out of their houses, she applied for a Police permission to serve the society with many projects like distribution of necessities, hygiene kits and supporting the LGBTQ Community. After looking at her social work along with her team many NGOs gave her the position to be the President of Maharashtra. Leaving no stone unturned, she took up every opportunity and tried her best to do as much good as possible.

Awards and Nominations :

Up until now she has been awarded Leading Entrepreneur of the year 2020 along with more than 100 Awards, Certificates and Medals by well-known platforms for being the most generous social worker and relentlessly contributing to society. Archana has also been recognised and published in many newspapers, magazines and articles in India.
